Painting with Colors

On Thursday, September 19, 2024, patients/resident leaned into both their left and right sides of their brains, to work in harmony,  strategically transforming white canvases into colorful, creative paintings. In conceptualizing an idea, our Parker artists relied on memory to find inspiration. In placing their vision on the canvas, they exercised their fine motor skills.

Painting with color is an independent, yet social activity that our patients/residents relish. They enjoy seeing and complimenting each other’s work, sharing inspiration, and laughing together, when their artistic creation didn’t quite achieve the vision they had in mind.
