Parker Celebrates Hanukkah

Hanukkah is a festive holiday. Here at Parker, our Therapeutic Recreation Department and our Food Service Department, teamed up to make sure that our patients/residents, families, and staff enjoyed eight days and nights of festivities. Throughout the holiday, patients/residents enjoyed competitive games of dreidel, as well as Hanukkah themed arts and craft projects. Everyone enjoyed the delicious Jewish cuisine of potato latkes, which is a pivotal celebratory cuisine of the holiday. While patients/residents were encouraged to make their own potato latkes, our Food Service Department, made sure that there was plenty for everyone.
