On Thursday, September 28, 2023, sounds of laughter and applause filled Parker Jewish Institute’s 8th floor, where the award-winning balloon artist and comedian, Nick the Balloonitic, entertained patients/residents.
Taking balloon-twisting requests from patients/residents, Nick told stories of his 30 years in the craft of balloon artistry. He also shared hilarious moments in his life, from growing up in a strict Catholic Italian/Puerto Rican home, to his married life with grown children. Nick opened up about his own health scares and gave words of encouragement to patients, recovering at Parker.
