Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands (WHHH) is an innovative community program serving family caregivers in Queens, Nassau and Suffolk Counties by connecting them with a circle of trained volunteers who provide an array of respite services.
Free Assistance for Caregivers on Long Island
If you or someone you know is caring for a family member or friend with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia, you are not alone! We can help. Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands provides free in-home consultations, support groups, education and training programs, respite scholarships, access to volunteer caregiver companions, and memory cafes. This initiative is supported, (in part), by a grant from the New York State Department of Health.
Services are free and available to anyone caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias living in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. For more information, please call (516) 586-1507.
