Parker Celebrates Holi

Monday, April 8, 2024

Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors or Festival of Love, is a Hindu Holiday. Holi came from a legend dealing with the God Krishna and his consort, Radha. It celebrates the arrival of spring and love.

Each year our patients and residents at the Parker Jewish Institute, both Hindu and non-Hindu, look forward to celebrating this jubilant festival. On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, our patients and residents joined together in prayer and celebration. It was adorned with colorful decorations and the residents enjoyed poetic readings, music and dance performances.

From all of us at the Parker Jewish Institute, we hope you enjoyed the festival of Holi!
